Congrats to the No. 15 Texas Tech women’s tennis team as they won the Big 12 regular season championship with a win over Arizona State on Friday and Arizona yesterday! They will participate in the Big 12 Tournament this weekend in Waco and are the #1 seed.

Texas Tech softball swept Houston for a 3-0 win on Sunday to move to 14-1 and will play Arizona this weekend in Tucson who is 13-5.

Texas Tech baseball came back twice to earn a 9-8 win over Baylor. I didn’t get to post on Saturday, but Texas Tech lost the middle game badly so this was needed for the series win. Robin Villeneuve went 4-4 with 3 runs scored, a home run and 2 RBI, Antonelli Savattere went 3-4 with 2 runs scored and an RBI. Jack Cebert pitched 4 solid innings in relief giving up just 1 run. Bad news is that the defense had 4 errors and T.J. Pompey may be out for the rest of the year. Texas Tech will face Arizona State this weekend.
