Washington State forward LeJuan Watts (6-6/233) has committed to Texas Tech. Watts averaged 13.7 points a game as a sophomore, 6.7 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 3.3 turnovers, 1.1 steals, 0.5 blocks, while shooting 54.9% from the field, 42.2% from beyond the 3-point line, and 73.4% from the charity stripe.

Advanced stats say that Watts does almost everything really well except he sometimes tries to do too much, hence the turnover issue. He is a high level offensive player and exceptional rebounder, but not necessarily on the offensive end. You can watch the highlights and see how he seems like a Darrion Williams starter-kit. Good low-post player that knows how to use his body, probably a better rebounder and athlete than Williams, and a good shooter from deep. Watts also started his career at Eastern Washington and then spent last year at Washington State, so he’s hoped around his first two years.

Forward Eemeli Yalaho has entered the transfer portal and given how little he has played over the first two years I absolutely understand why he’d seek playing time elsewhere. As I mentioned yesterday, there’s a decent mix of bigs and guards that are considering Texas Tech:

* Miikka Muurinen (6’10”) is the top power forward for the 2026 class and visiting this weekend.
* Grand Canyon forward Duke Brennan (6’10”) is on Texas Tech’s radar.
* Virginia forward Elijah Saunders (6’8″) is on Texas Tech’s radar.
* UNCG guard Donovan Atwell (6’5″) is also visiting this weekend.
* Delaware guard Izaiah Pasha (6’4″) is also visiting this weekend.
