On the Court
Lubbock Avalanche-Journla’s Nathan Giese reports on the civil lawsuit against former Red Raider Pop Isaacs has been dismissed by the plaintiffs. I didn’t comment very much on this at all because there was a ton of online smoke about everything and maybe I’m just getting too old to get wrapped up in this and just sort of thought that if the Title IX office and head coach Grant McCasland are good playing Isaacs, then I’ll sort of trust the process. If anything, I think this maybe demonstrates that the administration went through the proper processes and Isaacs continued to play and although he took a lot of heat from opposing fans, the right decisions were made. I’m sorry that Isaacs had to go through this and wish him the best moving forward.
Word on the XTwitter streets is that Utah State forward Great Osobor (6-8/25) and averaging 17.7 points and 9 boards last year as well as Wake forest forward Andrew Carr (6-10/220) and averaged 13.5 points and 6.8 boards last year. I don’t know the prospects of either one of them committing but I am guessing you all are more up to date on these sorts of things.
