Texas Tech Basketball | 2024-25 Eligibility Chart Version 2.0

Yesterday we learned that D’maurian Williams and Devan Cambridge would enter the transfer portal. With Williams, this is something that you certainly understand as he saw almost no time on the court and I’m sure he doesn’t want to not play for another year. With Cambridge, it is being portrayed as a surprise, he said that he would return after the season, but so did Pop Isaacs.

I keep seeing people sort of hint around at the idea that this may not be Cambridge’s decision and the same thing for Pop Isaacs, that the staff may be looking to change the roster and how things are put together. That may mean that on some of the “insiders” are telling people these things and I have no reason to doubt that’s the case. And I use “insiders” in quotes not because I’m doubting their knowledge about the situation, but because I’m not sure what to call them on whatever site you’re thinking about.

As always, there are 13 scholarships available. And unless my numbers are off, there are 8 scholarships to fill. I’d also add that Grant McCasland and his staff work really quietly and on my end it always seems like a surprise, maybe there’s a day’s notice or two.
