The Lady Raiders take on UC Irvine tonight at 6:00 pm at the United Supermarkets Arena with the game on ESPN+. As you probably know, UC Irvine are the Anteaters and I would buy a UC Irvine shirt having never set foot on the campus just for the mascot alone.

I’m sort of not sure how to do this, it’s reported X/Twitter that inside receiver Myles Price and offensive lineman Matt Keeler have entered the transfer portal. Keeler started two games this year and Price was 1st on the team with 43 receptions, but 3rd overall with 410 yards and 5 touchdowns. Price played with such passion and yes, this version of the Texas Tech offense didn’t really give him the opportunity to showcase his skills and I think that the addition of Drae McCray was a bit repetitive, but you need other players who can step up. Hannah Anderson and Madison White were both nominated as semifinalists for the 2023 Hermann Trophy, which is like the Heisman for soccer.

This is perhaps reliable X/Twitter account is reporting that Kliff Kingsbury is an option for the open Houston coaching job, who let Dana Holgorsen go. Kingsbury was a great offensive coordinator and an incredibly hard worker, but wanted nothing to do with anything else (except for that first year where he went after it from a recruiting perspective). UTSA head coach Jeff Traylor has also supposedly interviewed for the position, which I would not like as an in-conference opponent for Texas Tech.
