It was announced on the Twitter machine that Texas Tech forward Elijah Fisher was entering the transfer portal. One of the guys that I think runs one of the NIL programs, Kirk Lee Noles, responded by tweet that the transfer wasn’t true. The tweet linked is from Joe Tipton who is known for doing edits for players, I think for a cost and calls it Tipton Edits. It was Tipton Edits who announced the Fardaws Aimaq transfer and had the edit (which is a fancy way of saying the photo with the tweet) shortly after the season ended. When I say shortly, I mean hours after the the season was over, if that. Got all of that? I would expect a handful of players to announce they are transferring regardless of what happens with Fisher. Obviously, the new coach will want to put his own stamp on the program and that typically means recruiting a whole new team.
Congrats to the ladies and staff. This is well-deserved and earned. Go win some post-season games!

For the first time since the 2012-13 season, we’re headed to the postseason!

I haven’t had time to follow everything, everywhere, all at once (see what I did there), but please follow Red Raider Dugout for all of your baseball news, including how Texas Tech took 2 of 3 from ranked Iowa. It sounds as if the third game was there for the taking, but dominating the first two games is a whale of an accomplishment and it will be all quiet on the western front until UT-Arlington comes to down for a two-game series on Tuesday with conference play set to start on Friday against Oklahoma State.
