1. Stats. Oklahoma has some really good and some really bad. We’ll do the good first. The Sooners are a good shooting team, 104th in 2-point field goal percentage and 53rd in 3-point field goal percentage. That’s stuff you can build on, however, Oklahoma is 293rd in turnover percentage and 315th in offensive rebounding percentage, which means they are throwing away 20% of their possessions and just not giving themselves second opportunities. Defensively, there is some good, particularly adept at defending the 3-point line, 23rd in the nation, and 135th in 2-point defense. The Sooners struggle at turning teams over, 327th overall and other than that, they’re okay defensively.
2. Scouting. Sherfield has been fantastic, a very high 3-point shooting percentage, 42%, makes his free throws, has a high usage and assist rate and doesn’t turn the ball over much. If Oklahoma had more of Sherfield’s they’d be in the tournament. Hill is also a good player on a ton of levels, just very versatile, but he doesn’t shoot the 3-ball well at all. Uzan, Oweh, and Bamisile are sort of the culprits in terms of turning the ball over, I’d also add Cortes too. Hill, Groves, and Godwin are all good shooters inside the arc and rebound well, particularly Groves.
3. How They Match Up. Oklahoma is supposed to win according to T-Rank, so that’s not a surprise as both teams are pretty even. OU is a slightly worse tam in terms of turning the ball over, but Texas Tech has an advantage because they are pretty good at forcing turnovers. Texas Tech is also good at grabbing offensive boards and that’s another area where OU struggles.

5. Official Site. The official site has their preview right here:
With only two weeks and four games remaining in the regular season, Texas Tech will look to build on momentum this week when it plays Oklahoma at 8 p.m. on Tuesday in the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Oklahoma before hosting No. 22 TCU on Saturday in Lubbock.
Tech (15-12, 4-10 Big 12) extended its three-game winning streak with a 78-72 win at West Virginia on Saturday after a victory over No. 6 Texas last Monday, while the Sooners (13-14, 3-11 Big 12) took an 85-83 overtime loss to the Longhorns on Saturday following a win over No. 12 Kansas State earlier in the week. Oklahoma won the first matchup this season against Tech with a 68-63 overtime win on January 7 in Lubbock. The Red Raiders are currently 3-1 in games where a Big 12 team is going for a season sweep with only Baylor getting it.
