Pretty cool, Ludvig Aberg was on with the Golf Channel and talked about being on top of the PGA Tour University Global Rankings.
Basketball
I wasn’t sure why Jason Jackson didn’t sign last week the same time that Drew Steffe signed, but he’s officially official a signee. Jackson is a huge pick-up, an incredibly bouncy and athletic point guard who can score on multiple levels.

Hell yeah.
Lubbock Avalanche-Journal’s Don Williams writes about how running back Cam’Ron Valdez is making up for lost time:
“It’s been a long time coming,” Valdez said Tuesday. “I’ve been looking forward to this season, and missing eight games really set me back mentally because I just want to be out there with the guys, with the family, putting everything on the line. I feel like being out there now, I’m showing how bad I wanted to be out there and making the plays that I need to make.”
Red Raider Sports’ Justin Apodaca writes about preparation with the upcoming cold weather in Ames this Saturday:
“I’m not going to lie, I’m not a fan of the cold, but I don’t care. If I had to choose it’d be a nice sunny day, see the palm trees and smell the ocean,” Price said. “I don’t wear sleeves, but I think I’m going to need them this week.”
Price also spoke about what the Cyclones will do on defense to stop the Tech offense this weekend.
“They’re going to play a lot of cloud coverage,” Price said. “They like to come down hill, they got a couple crash dummies on the team that’ll come and blow the play up, so we’ve got to be prepared for that. We know we’re going to have to be super physical on the edge because those guys are definitely a physical team out there.”
