Since this arrived on the 4th of July, there wasn’t any sort of accompanying story. Valsin is terrific at the hesi (that’s kids-speak for “hesitation” or double-move) and it gets him open deep really well when coverage is soft. When it’s not soft, then one-on-one, he’s really tough to beat. I’d even add that if there’s single-coverage, if his quarterback doesn’t throw him the ball, he’s getting benched (this is me being dramatic and don’t really think he would be benched). And his high-point is very high and does a terrific job of judging when to jump and jumping over those defenders. As an aside, in his 24/7 link, it says that his brother Jimmy plays for Oregon State.
