Natchitoches, Louisiana defensive tackle Tre’Darius Brown became the 16th commitment for the 2023 class for Joey McGuire.

Brown is a big athlete that loves the spin move. I still don’t know how a high school player that has his size and speed for the defensive tackle position has only one offer. Brown’s commitment is apparently a Zarnell Fitch addition and to remind you all, he was the guy that helped build the TCU defensive line for so many years. Brown is I think pretty raw in terms of what he can do, again, he seems to make most of his plays off of the same spin move and my guess is that Fitch sees the athlete and what he can be as a defensive tackle. This is the first defensive tackle of the 2023 class so needing players at that position is necessary.
