An interesting announcement as Texas Tech has formed a non-profit, Red Raider Facilities Foundation, Inc. a new 501(c)(3) entity which will, “oversee the development of future athletics facilities beginning with the Dustin R. Womble Football Center.” The three initial board members are Alan Hassenflu, King Scovell, and Chris Huckabee. I’ve been a bit caught up with work and life the last couple of days, but it is also my understanding that there is a press conference that will announce a gift for football facilities that’s set for today at 1:30 p.m. There’s a lot of money flowing and it is definitely interesting.

Congrats to Graham Harrell for being named to the Texas Tech Hall of Fame. This begs the question is if he’ll be the offensive coordinator at Texas Tech while being honored.
