Line: Oklahoma -6.0
Commentary: Oklahoma was off this past week, so they had an entire week to get ready for Baylor who is coming off of a 2 point loss to TCU, which is something I didn’t expect to happen. This will be a pretty good test for both teams and we’ll get to see how well Baylor can rebound. My guess is that this will be a pretty close game and a game where Oklahoma needs to show something. The committee will probably be watching this game pretty closely and Oklahoma has played down to their competition for pretty much the entire year (Texas Tech excluded of course).
WEST VIRGINIA (4-5, 2-4) |
@ | KANSAS STATE (6-3, 3-3) |

Date & Time: Saturday, November 13th @ 11:00 am
TV: ?
Line: Kansas State -6.0
Commentary: This is a pretty interesting game, but one where Kansas State seems to be rolling a bit after beating Kansas by 25 (totally respectable) and West Virginia managed to score 3 points at home against a very tough Oklahoma State team. West Virginia typically has a decent defense, but the offense is pretty rough because they simply do not have a great quarterback. Kansas State seems to have found their groove after starting out 0-3 in Big 12 play and would expect that they will get to 4-3 by the end of Saturday.
IOWA STATE (6-3, 4-2) |
@ | TEXAS TECH (5-4, 2-4) |

Date & Time: Saturday, November 13th @ 2:30 pm
TV: ESPN2
Line: Iowa State -10.5
Commentary: Texas Tech had a by week this past week and Iowa State absolutely took Texas to the woodshed this past weekend, beating the Longhorns by 24. Iowa State is still fighting for a spot to battle in the Big 12 Championship, but that ability is slowly fading as more teams need to lose. This was supposed to be a truly special team for Iowa State and they certainly have talent, but they have had misfires as well. Texas Tech had a much-needed week off and my hope is that they are rested, a bit more healthy, and focused. My guess is that there might be a new starting quarterback for Texas Tech.
KANSAS (1-8, 0-6) |
@ | TEXAS (4-5, 2-4) |

Date & Time: Saturday, November 13th @ 6:30 pm
TV: ESPNU
Line: Texas -29.5
Commentary: This is the week Texas comes back. For real. The Jayhawks lose big at home to rival Kansas State while Texas probably needs to get straight and nothing can get a team straighter than playing Kansas at home. Texas will absolutely beat Kansas and it will probably be by a good amount and I’d imagine that Kansas probably won’t put up much of a fight. Of course, the story last week for Texas was that the special team coach’s girlfriend is a stripper and her stage name is Pole Assassin and her pet monkey attacked a trick-or-treater during Halloween. That’s how Texas is doing this year.
TCU (4-5, 2-4) |
@ | OKLAHOMA STATE (8-1, 5-1) |

Line: Oklahoma State -13.5
Commentary: Oklahoma State continued to show that they probably have the best defense in the Big 12 with a solid win against WVU last weekend. TCU has their fans storm the field, yes, storm the field, after beating Baylor. What world is this? My guess is that with the TCU starting quarterback out and Evans also out that TCU will have some issues scoring. Oklahoma State’s defense is legitimately good to quite good and it’s a team that I do not look forward to playing.
