Not a ton of time this morning. Really behind the 8-ball in terms of content this week as yesterday’s summaries of the press conferences took up so much time that I didn’t have time to really work on the 7 Point Preview like I normally do, so I’m just all sorts of behind. I’ll be back at full strength with the 7 Point Preview tomorrow!
Texas Tech added a home-and-home with Arkansas in the 2030 and 2031 seasons. That’s great I suppose and don’t have a ton to say other than I like playing schools that are more regional than not.
If future schedules are your thing, FB Schedules has all of your future schedule needs until 2032. All of the non-conference games are in place up until 2027 when Texas Tech plays Arkansas-Pine Bluff, North Texas and NC State. In 2028, Texas Tech plays Mississippi State and Wyoming so they’ll need a third opponent for that season. Also, don’t forget to start planning your trip to the Pacific Northwest as Texas Tech plays Oregon in Eugene in 2024.
Coolio will be the pre-game entertainment for the TCU game, so that’s pretty great.
What up everybody, so glad you’re here.
We’re on a mission to see if we can get your attention. Now we want to drop some information…

Dallas Morning News’ Ryan Mainville has 5 things to know about West Virginia and here’s one of them:
Fast starts
The Mountaineers have done a great job at coming out of the gates aggressively this season. West Virginia is +25 in first-quarter point differential this season, putting themselves in a more comfortable position to not force plays with Doege. This also allows them to establish the run game with Brown, something they’ve struggled to do consistently this season. Texas Tech, meanwhile, has been a complete disaster in their first 15 minutes of play.
The Red Raiders are -28 in first-quarter point differential this season and have allowed 42 first-quarter points in just four games. Texas Tech has to tighten up early to give themselves a chance to run the ball.
