Last year, Horn ran for 1,101 yards, 9 touchdowns, 8 yards per carry per his Hudl highlights, but that may have been only part of the season (not totally sure).
Horn is a very fast running back with some versatility to his game, really smooth as a receiver and you know a player is fast when he can run to the corner and still out-run every defender (and I think this is pretty well true on every level). The Broken Arrow offensive line is very good, so Horn’s excellence is explained in part by that, but his quickness and ability to accelerate is really impressive. I love the pistol offense that Broken Arrow runs, which is really a smart move, a spread offense that’s really a power running game. Horn also has really nice hips, shaking in-between tackles including just hitting the hole incredibly quickly.
There was this thought that Horn is projected to be a cornerback in college and when you’re this skilled, there’s no limit to what Horn could play. I think he’s expected to play running back or play receiver for Texas Tech, but I’m not totally sure. Regardless, to get an athlete that’s this talented is a boon.
