RedRaiderSports’ Matt Clare talked to Graham after his commitment and why he committed to Texas Tech:
“The official visit was great, because I had been to Lubbock a few years ago and then again last week for the camp. But this time around, I was able to spend a lot of time with the coaching staff and learn more about them. They took me through everything and we went out to eat as a group, and we just spent a lot of time together.
“What stood out the most to me was just the people, the coaches and the players I was able to meet and spend time with. Also, really everyone who helped us during the visit. I liked the small town feel, but you can also feel the support throughout the building and in talking with people around Lubbock.”
The article states, which you should read, states that when Graham camped at Texas Tech last week he mainly repped at defensive back, so that may be where Graham ends up eventually.
Regardless, Graham’s junior video is a ton of fun to watch where Graham passed for 2,003 yards, ran for 656, and had 35 touchdowns as a junior.
Graham has really nice touch and he runs really well. I’d like to see more video on defense, but the athleticism translates really well and the quick decision-making is also something that will translate on the defensive end of the field. Not a huge offer list, but it’s also relatively early. I’m excited that Texas Tech has its first commit of the 2022 class and to get that first one out of the way.
