Good morning gang!
After a Friday night loss, Texas Tech baseball came back in resounding fashion, absolutely whipping the shit out of Oklahoma on Saturday and Sunday, 15-2 and 13-2, the last game being a run-ruled 7-inning game. The series thread has been properly updated. The next series will start a day early, on Thursday, and be at home against Kansas.
Texas Tech is pretty well third in the conference, sitting at 12-9. Texas was off this week, while TCU lost 2 of 3 to Louisiana-Monroe. Texas hosts West Virginia, who is in the cellar of the Big 12 with Kansas, while TCU is in Manhattan taking on Kansas State.
Over the weekend, Texas Tech and Mark Adams added Florida State wing Sardaar Calhoun, which I think gives Texas Tech 6 different wing type of players, which to be is a player in the 6’6″ and 200 pound range. Some of these wings will play inside and some will be based around the basket, but they are varying levels of talented that will hopefully put the ball in the basket. The scholarship count stands at 10, so there are 3 more spots to hand out for Adams.
A very sweet moment for Sean Sutton introducing his father, Eddie Sutton, into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
🗣 “My dad loved the game of basketball and embraced the history of the game.”
