The Lady Raiders will take on #24 West Virginia tonight at 6:00 pm at the United Supermarkets Arena. I didn’t know that Baillie Burmaster does the color for these games. Burmaster played soccer for Oklahoma State, eventually found her way and worked for one of the local television stations, ended up taking a job in the Green Bay area covering the Packers, and I guess she’s doing the commentary remotely.
Baseball America released their top 25 on Monday and have your Red Raiders as the preseason No. 3 team:
Few teams in college baseball are better at reloading year after year than Texas Tech, and thatβs why they check in at No. 3 despite losing two members of the weekend rotation in Clayton Beeter and Bryce Bonnin after last season. Righthanders Brandon Birdsell and Micah Dallas and lefthander Mason Montgomery will be tasked with filling out the rotation. The lineup will likely be centered around outfielder Dylan Neuse and second baseman Jace Jung.
