A couple of interesting things here. I normally pull all of the offers from the 24/7 list, but the only offer they had was Texas Tech. Of all things, ESPN had the additional offers (I’m guessing he had more than 1 offer, but who knows). Also interesting that ESPN had Carde rated and Rivals did not and I also put the height and weight from the player’s Hudl profile, as I’m figuring that’s data they are entering rather than a recruiting service. The services had him at 325 (that’s what Carde’s player profile at Coffeyville C.C. has him at), while he has his weight at 340. This is maybe things that I only interesting to me as a guy that pays attention to things that probably don’t matter in the long run.
Back to Carde, he’s a massive human being and I think that he gets by on being a very large human. He does have a nasty demeanor at times in the film, very much trying to drive the defender, but he sort of so much bigger than opponents. Carde’s Coffeyville C.C. profile says that he’s just a freshman, so he might have 4 years to play 3 years, i.e. he had a redshirt year most likely available. That means that he’s probably a bit of project and normally, JUCO players are rated after their sophomore year, but Carde is being evaluated after his freshman year, which is why Rivals may not have him rated.
