Pretty fun game last night with Washington State and Mike Leach beating Houston and Dana Holgorsen, 31-24. I have an odd observation, which is that it seemed like Washington State’s pads were smaller than normal. Like they just weren’t as big as maybe normal pads. Look into and and get back to me.
Also, Kansas went on the road and beat Boston College, 48-24 last night. I didn’t see that coming, but that’s a pretty nice win for Kansas. A Power Five road win for Kansas is one of those things that I didn’t expect to see for a while, but here we are.
Maybe the most impressive win last night was our very own Keith Patrick calling play-by-play for the Frenship Tigers as they defeated the Lubbock Cooper Pirates, 61-53 in a 4OT game. Texas Tech quarterback commit Donovan Smith was 20-34 for 256 yards and 2 touchdowns with 107 rushing yards on 20 attempts and 2 touchdowns.
