KCBD’s Michael A. Cantu was the first to report this, but Texas Tech junior forward DeShawn Corprew has been suspended indefinitely as a result of an Title IX investigation regarding an assault. Texas Tech basketball released the following statement:

Once Coach Beard was made aware of Title IX allegations against Deshawn Corprew, the men’s basketball student-athlete was immediately suspended from all team activities, pending a full investigation. Further comment will be withheld until the appropriate time.

I don’t have any additional details other than what you see right here. There should not be a presumption of guilt with Corprew, I’m perfectly content to just let the system play this scenario out and you simply hope that justice is served.
