As a sophomore, Sparkman had 26 catches for 475 yards and 2 touchdowns for about 18 yards a catch and as a junior Sparkman had 702 yards on 28 catches for 10 touchdowns and 25 yards a catch.
Sparkman is a giant. Well, he’s not an actual giant, but Sparkman is a physical specimen, a man amongst boys in the defensive backfield and physically just dominating. I’m surprised that the Pine Tree offense doesn’t just consist of throwing the ball to him and hoping for the best because they could probably do that. Sparkman drags opponents into the end zone and he’s got a really nice feel of how high he needs to go up for the ball. I don’t know that Sparkman has a lot of juke, but he’s kind of like a freight train in that he’s running right at you and being as big as he is, that’s really difficult to stop.
