Leading Off
Busy Week. It’s going to be a busy week. We’ve got Big Monday tonight as Texas Tech hosts West Virginia. Then on Wednesday, we have the second signing day where head coach Matt Wells will try to round out the 2019 class. I’ll have coverage of that on Wednesday and Thursday.

No Sign. You can check out the Lady Raiders’ Twitter account and there is no sign that the Baylor game happened. Just the tweet about TCU coming up on Wednesday. Let’s just say that Baylor, the #1 team in the nation, flexed and defeated the Lady Raiders 96-37.

4 Commits Forthcoming. Yesterday, head coach Matt Wells tweeted “Wreck’Em x 4” which is the bat-signal for 4 commits to be happening relatively soon.

We got two of them, kicker Jonathan Garibay and running back Dadrion Taylor. Not sure when or who the other two will be, but it’s probably going to happen between now and Wednesday.
MVP. On Saturday, former Texas Tech footballer Patrick Mahomes was named the Offensive Player of the Year and also the Most Valuable Player of the NFL in his first full season as a starter. You can watch the video of Mahomes’ acceptance right here (although there’s a good chance this video will be taken down as it was posted by the NFL, so watch while you can).
Adrian. Cornerback Adrian Frye is the latest player to tweet out an official site highlight video.
Time to turn it up next season!
