The football team had a couple of midterm enrollees make it to campus from this most recent signing period, Trevor Roberson and Simon Gonzalez. Getting Gonzalez on campus early will surely pay dividends with how much David Yost utilizes the tightend position. We also preview the upcoming post on StakingThePlains about what the Keith Patterson defense will look like, some terminology, and where some of the current players might project in this new scheme.

Chris Beard is such a perfect cultural fit in West Texas and at Texas Tech that it almost doesn’t make sense for him to entertain offers anywhere else.
