Texas Tech Soccer
Congrats to Tom Stone and the ladies of the soccer team (13-5-2, 5-3-1) as they will host a first round game against Princeton (11-3-2, 5-1-1) in the NCAA Tournament. First touch for this game is Friday night at 6:00 p.m. at the John Walker Soccer Complex. The other Big 12 teams who made the tournament are TCU, Baylor, West Virginia, and Texas and that’s a link to the full bracket.

A-J Media’s Carlos Silva, Jr. writes about how the quarterback position for Texas Tech is a mystery and Kingsbury also talks about how this is a senior day and this is a big deal for these seniors:
“It’s senior day and it’s a big deal around here,” Kingsbury said. “We’ve made that a big deal, as it should be. We have three seniors, that are six-year seniors and have been here everyday I’ve been here and a bunch of other guys who have been here four and five years who have really been through it since they’ve been here. Some ups and downs and have fought and fought. And you’re seeing some of the resolve in the way this team plays. And it’s led by that group. … That’s my focus. We’re obviously playing a great team, but I want to make sure they have a great senior day and we play as well as we can as a team.”
