Last week, I kicked off my campaign to become a Hub City BBQ Judge in 2019.
Well, I have some news:
We love your enthusiasm and would love to have you as a #HubCityBBQ judge in 2019! Thanks for helping us spread awareness of this fun event!

I have been in touch directly with some folks at the Chamber. There is a bit of red tape at the moment with my employer not being a member of the Chamber, but we have some time to sort all of that out.
Thanks to the Lubbock Chamber for making a dream come true!
THE MENU
The Menu returns this week because my wife purchased an Air Fryer. I’m still not sure what it is, exactly, but it’s like a little convection oven that can even stir things while it cooks. She did some experimenting during the Tech/KU game on Saturday, and I am now a believer.
My wife bought an air fryer this week and she’s about to work on some game day snack experiments. #blessed

UPDATE 2: Wings are goooood. Went straight from fridge to air fryer. Tossed in Buffalo and Parmesan garlic. pic.twitter.com/nQlXKtXjPE

Used this recipe from a close family friend with a great YouTube channel: https://t.co/CXEJZgA4NB:

Other items cooked since purchase: turkey burgers, chicken breast, jalapeno cheese sausages (perfectly cooked, zero piercing of the casing), and carrot fries (as good if not better than sweet potato fries). This little thing can do all sorts of stuff. If you’re interested, or if you’ve already taken the plunge, please check out this YouTube Channel for recipes and tips. Diane is a close family friend and she can cook just about anything in an air fryer.
