Recap | Box Score

I mowed last night, so I didn’t get done with everything I needed to get done with until 7:00 p.m. and then dinner and putting kids to bed and I was passed out by 8:30 so I missed the entire thing. Since the game didn’t even start until 9:25 and seeing the final score, I guess I didn’t miss very much. In the post game presser, which is only 3 minutes, Tadlock said that if he’s guilty of anything, it’s believing that he thought that Ryan Sublette would give the team 4 or 5 good innings, but the freshman only lasted 1 inning, giving up 4 runs, walking 5 and striking out 1 in 32 pitches. The bullpen did their best to clean things up, but really, no one was good as Caleb Freeman, Connor Queen and Andrew Davis all struggled to an extent. The offense had 10 hits, the same number as TCU, but the Horned Frogs were able to mix in 14 walks and Texas Tech only had 4. Josh Jung and Grant Little both went 2-4, Jung had an RBI, the only RBI for the game, while Brian Klein scored on a wild pitch, both runs coming in the 5th inning.

You can find the Big 12 Championship Bracket right there (it’s a PDF). Oklahoma, Texas, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech are all in the losers bracket, which is your top four seeds and that’s sorta hilarious. Dylan Dusek is supposed to start against Oklahoma State. Let’s go.
