No. 8 Oklahoma State vs. No. 9 Oklahoma, 6 p.m.
Preview & Prediction: These in-state rivals will be having Round 3 of Bedlam, this is a must watch game. Oklahoma is getting all the love with Young and their RPI, but both teams are competing for the postseason. They split their regular season series, and this one could be a nail-bitter as the last game they played each other went to OT. One thing you might not know is that Oklahoma State has not won a Big 12 tournament game since 2014. I’m picking the Sooners in this contest.
No. 7 Texas vs. No. 10 Iowa State, 8 p.m.
Preview & Prediction: Obviously this is the game we are going to be interested in, because the winner gets to play our Red Raiders tomorrow. The big news is that Mo Bamba (injury) is not likely to play for UT in this contest. Eric Davis is being held out by the Longhorns for his ongoing investigation of being paid some money from an agent. Iowa State has no outside chance to make the postseason, and Texas is on the bubble. It is thought that a win against ISU would get UT into the Big Dance. Texas has already beat ISU twice in the regular season, and I think they win again to move on in the Big 12 tourney. How happy would you be to see the Longhorns for the third time this year?
