Pitcher of the Week. I cannot recall the last time that Texas Tech had a player honored as the player of the week. Great work.
After a 3-0 weekend with 13 strikeouts to no walks, freshman Erin Edmoundson has been named Big 12 Pitcher of the Week.

Red Raiders Sweep the Roadrunners. The UTSA series thread has been fully updated and that’s a sweep with Texas Tech moving to 8-0 on the year. Erikson Lanning had another tough outing yesterday, didn’t get out of the third inning, and it wouldn’t surprise me if Tadlock moved towards someone else getting the ball on Sundays. We’ll see how this plays out. John Henry Gonzalez has only pitched 1 inning all year and maybe another option would by Ty Harpenau as an option, but I can’t see Tadlock sticking with Lanning much longer.
Texas Tech is on the road for one more game, taking on the UTRGV Vaqueros with Ryan Shetter is getting the start today. First pitch is at noon and will be streamed at WACSports.

The national spotlight was on Lubbock this weekend and #TexasTech did not disappoint. Take a look back at @CollegeGameday‘s visit to the Hub city. #WreckEm pic.twitter.com/QSH53synmq

Cantrell Gets Called Out.I mean that Cantrell gets called out in a great way, Peter Schrager think that Cantrell is going to be one of the prime performers during the NFL Combine.
Last year, Cooper Kupp was @pschrags “guy.” This year? Ladies and gentlemen, get to know the super-human, slam-dunking @TexasTechFB WR Dylan Cantrell @dylancantrell14 pic.twitter.com/Ox1tqe3oz0
