Notebook. A-J Media’s Carlos Silva, Jr. has a basketball notebook where he writes about the additional minutes for Josh Webster and how he prepares, that Malik Ondigo is fine, but that Norense Odiase and Tommy Hamilton just played on Wednesday, and Chris Beard bought the students who didn’t get in a lunch and handed out gift certificates. Here’s a bit on Webster’s role and work ethic:

And, as has been the case following home games all-season long, Webster was out on the court taking jumpshots with staff member grabbing rebounds. He was joined by teammate Justin Gray as both continued to perfect their shooting motions after their squad earned an overtime win against the Longhorns about an hour prior.

“I’ve been so impressed with his discipline,” Beard said of Webster. “He’s continued to work out everyday. On game nights, where he doesn’t get a lot of minutes he works out a lot the next day. He works on off days.

“He’s stayed committed to being in the film room, even though sometimes he’s not watching himself. He’s watching Keenan (Evans) or somebody else. He’s just really got his confidence back up.”
