Patrick Mahomes received his first NFL start against the Denver Broncos, where he was 22 of 35 for 284 yards along with 10 yards rushing on the day with no touchdowns in the air or on the ground. That somewhat burries the lede as Mahomes also led the team to win the game in the last minutes to win the game with a field goal (Mahomes didn’t kick the field goal, someone else did).
