Hakeem White is your 15th commitment of the 2018 class and fourth offensive lineman commit, in addition to Clayton Franks, Weston Wright and Troy Bradshaw.
White’s got a nice athletic frame. He sets up well and quickly in pass protection and he’s very mobile. I see guard written all over him in college, but he’s playing right tackle at Midway. I’d guess that his biggest “problem” is experience. There’s a lot of video from practice sessions and or maybe preseason camp and maybe the thought is that White is a very raw athlete that didn’t get a ton of burn last year, some for sure, but coaches see White projecting forward this year as a senior and I certainly get that projection. I think White’s very raw though, he needs to work on his hands quite a bit, but that athleticism you can’t teach. I could see him pulling and absolutely blowing up some unsuspecting linebacker or safety.
