Straight speed. Just flat-out run past the other guy fast. Carter has plenty of start and stop to go along with the straight line speed, but his ability to run away from defenders is top notch.

Carter wins the 6A 100m dash in 10.32 seconds and he absolutely destroys the competition. As far as the football stuff, Carter plays both inside receiver and defensive back (just a little bit on the defensive side of the ball):
