According to Brett Dewhurt’s twitter bio (and also confirmed here), defensive quality control assistant Brett Dewhurst, and former Red Raider, has accepted a full time position at SE Louisiana.

This is a move up for Dewhurt, who has spent the last three years as a quality control assistant and will now be a full time position coach. Dewhurst was the eyes in the booth for defensive coordinator David Gibbs and obviously played a huge role in how Texas Tech played each game. Going to be interesting to see who replaces Dewhurst in the box. Dewhurst came along with Gibbs from Houston when Gibbs was hired away.
