James plays quarterback for DeAndre Washington’s old high school and it’s funny watching both Bowman and James play quarterback and it looks like it’s two totally different positions. James has a bit of trouble throwing the ball, but watching James run is a thing of beauty. Bowman throws the ball with ease, but doesn’t exactly have a natural gait.
James runs the zone read beautifully and he’s fast as hell and every time I watch him play, I think he looks like he’s going to get hammered, but he never does because he’s either out-running defenders or just slipping past them. James conversion to receiver is probably going to take a bit of time to learn the position, but James has all of the athletic traits to play receiver, it’s just a matter of learning the position.
