I’m out for the weekend, spending my time out in East Texas where cell service is questionable and the smoked meats will be over-flowing. It’s not just me, it’s sort of a father-son thing, so I’m bringing the boys and we should have a great time.

This is a really big weekend of sports, the baseball team will be in Houston taking on Texas A&M, Ole Miss and LSU, while the basketball team has a huge game in Manhattan, and the football team starts spring practice today, while hosting a bunch of juniors for the football team’s junior day. Brian will be live in Houston attending perhaps a couple of the games, so watch out for the Staking The Plains twitter handle for photos of beer, food and baseball.
