Early this morning (right when I was headed to the grocery store), Chris Level tweeted out that according to some West Coast reports, Texas Tech running back coach DeShaun Foster will return to UCLA
According to various reports on the West Coast, @DeShaunFoster26 is leaving #TexasTech to head back to his alma mater (UCLA) to coach RB’s.

Since I may have been the only one up, I asked Chris if Kingsbury had any replacements in mind and Chris said that none right now, but that if it were up to him, he’d hire an high school coach looking to make a move to college. I’d agree, I think that would be best in this instance. I also asked Chris much later if Jeff Traylor would be an option, the former Texas Longhorns coach who is currently unemployed, but was a long-time East Texas coach who has deep ties to that neck of the woods.
