The Lady Raiders (11-5, 3-2 Big12) were balling it last Wednesday in their upset win over the #18/19 West Virginia Mountaineers (14-3, 2-3 Big12). Tech won the game 75-66. It was the first win over a ranked team by the Lady Raiders since 2013. The Lady Raiders started out slow and let the Mountaineers take a 10-0 lead but then Tech got things moving and caught up and were winning by as much as 18pts before another cold period in the 4th Qtr, which allowed the game to be tied up.  The Lady Raiders decided that they were not going to lose and they went on a final 13-4 run. The Lady Raiders were aggressive and played like a well oiled machine. The road now leads to Norman, Oklahoma this afternoon, where the Lady Raiders take on the #22/25 Oklahoma Sooners (13-4, 4-1 Big12). The game will be the 55th meeting with the series in OU’s favor 22-32. This will be a tough game not only because its on the road but because it is against a strong ranked opponent, but I think this game is one the Lady Raiders, if they play like they did on Wednesday against WVU, can win.

Focus on the game at hand

Get the Win ….. Wreck’Em !!!!

Beat the Sooners !!!
