The Lady Raiders (10-4, 2-1 Big12) stayed unbeaten in Lubbock after Wednesday nights game against the Iowa State Cyclones (9-5, 0-3 Big12). Texas Tech kept the game close but struggled to keep the Cyclones from scoring especially behind the arc allowing Iowa State to score nine 3-Ptrs. After the half, the Lady Raiders came out and played cohesively and controlled the flow on the floor and restricted the Cyclones to only one 3-Ptr. The final score 75-66. The Lady Raiders had great stats with four players in double figures and scoring almost every free-throw only missing one of 26 attempts.
Tonight they travel to Manhattan, Kansas to take on the Kansas State Wildcats (11-4, 1-2 Big12). The game starts at 7:00pm CST and can be viewed on ESPN3. This will be the 31st meeting between these two teams. The Wildcats hold a 17-13 lead on the series.  The Wildcats are coming off an overtime game where they almost upset #20 Oklahoma. The Wildcats did beat the #12 West Virginia Mountaineers but fell to #2 Baylor in the first game of conference play.  The Wildcats will have home court advantage and they are a very cohesive team who play their opponents hard.  The Lady Raiders will have to play accurately and control the boards if they are to pull of the win.

Focus on the game at hand

Get the Win ….. Wreck’Em !!!!

Beat the Kansas State Wildcats !!!
