Texas Tech Football
There’s just no news out there this morning. At least nothing I could find. We’re in that weird part of the year where neither basketball team is playing until Friday, the football team isn’t doing anything and most of college football is focusing on the bowl games (of which I have not watched a snap of any bowl game thus far). The only news is that Lane Kiffin hired Kendal Briles to be Florida Atlantic’s offensive coordinator. That’s a bit of a step-down for Briles I think, but if anyone was curious about whether or not he’d get a job and yes, they’ll all get jobs. If you have any news, drop it in the comments. I’ll be posting a roster snapshot of the safeties at 6:00 am this morning.
Also, we’re up to 43 t-shirts sold and we need 50 to get our goal (I’m not totally sure how this works, it would seem that they’ll still print even if we don’t get to 50, but let’s just remove all doubt). Get your Staking The Plains t-shirt today! Also, Travis’ book, Dream No Little Dreams, can be purchased in paperback form so you can have him or SARR autograph it one day. Get your copy today.
Here’s the bowl lineup for the day:
Tuesday, December 27th
Heart of Dallas Bowl: Army vs. North Texas 11:00 am ESPN / WatchESPN
Military Bowl : Temple vs. Wake Forest 2:30 pm ESPN / WatchESPN / espn3 Spanish
Holiday Bowl : Minnesota vs. Washington State 6:00 pm ESPN / WatchESPN
Cactus Bowl : Baylor vs. Boise State 9:15 pm ESPN / WatchESPN
You can watch North Texas along with head coach Seth Littrell, former coach at Texas Tech, with Graham Harrell as the offensive coordinator and Mike Leach’s Washington State team take on Minnesota while you can hope that Baylor gets trucked by Boise State.
