Texas Tech cornerback Nigel Bethel II announced on Twitter that he would transfer from Texas Tech.

Bethel didn’t play football this spring, only running track (and actually still participating in track I think). This shouldn’t be a huge surprise. Chris Level made it clear all spring that Bethel would most likely not be back this year, despite chatter from players otherwise.
