Time to celebrate, the Red Raiders have been picked by the selection committee to play in the NCAA tournament! This has not happened since 2007. Texas Tech was one of the biggest surprise teams of the season finishing with a record of 19-12. Going 9-9 during Big 12 regular season play by beating other NCAA tourney bound conference teams like Oklahoma, Texas, Baylor, and Iowa State.

The Red Raiders got the #8 seed bid, and are set to play in Midwest Region bracket against #9 seed Butler. The games will be played in Raleigh, NC. Our game will be this upcoming Thursday (March 17th) at 11:40am central time.
A truly magical regular season for a team that was picked to finish dead last in the Big 12. Now, it is time to make some noise on the biggest platform of the college basketball world.
