Fullerton lost 2 of 3 at Stanford, came back and swept Indiana and then lost to Arizona on Wednesday in a midweek game. Meanwhile, Texas Tech is coming off of a terrific weekend, where they went 2-1 against three ranked opponents in Houston and then split a two-game home stand with New Mexico State, losing the first game 7-6 and then manhandling the Aggies, 14-2. Fullerton is ranked 22nd in the nation and they really haven’t hit at all thus far (seriously, check out those stats), but son of a gun, they’re pitching their tails off and they don’t make mistakes in the infield.
