The Lady Raiders (11-13, 2-11 Big12) will head to Ames, IA to take on the Iowa State Cyclones (12-12, 4-9 Big12) at 7pm CST. Texas Tech beat the Cyclones a month ago in Overtime at “The USA” in Lubbock (69-66). I am hoping that the Lady Raiders can sweep the Cyclones this season and win in Iowa tonight. The Hilton Coliseum is a very hard place to play and the Cyclone fans show up and fill the seats. The Lady Raiders need to do their best to play a clean game as the Cyclones are very accurate at the charity-stripe (74.8% FT%). Where Tech might be able to make up some ground is making 3-Pointers, as Iowa State can make the 3-Ptrs but are poor in defending them (30.4% 3-Pt Defense). The Lady Raiders need to be aggressive on the boards and in-the-paint. If Tech can play well all four quarters, they have a shot at beating Iowa State.
