I’m not sure who broke the news first, but Texas Tech strength and conditioning coach Chad Dennis will not be returning (you can pick your source, either RedRaiderSports or FootballScoop). It should also be noted that in the Football Scoop link, assistant strength and conditioning coach Billy Yates will be joining Mike Jinks at Bowling Green. You can almost bet that Yates was also going to be let go.

Texas Tech released a statement, via the LAJ from head coach Kliff Kingsbury:

“We would like to thank Chad Dennis for the three years he led our strength and conditioning program,” Kingsbury said in a statement the Tech athletic department released. “We wish him well in all his future endeavors.”

The churn continues for Kingsbury as he now will need to hire at least five assistant coaches and now a new strength and conditioning coach.
