Montae on Jalen. I know this is some recruiting stuff, but it’s a slow news day. In any event, via the Waxahachie Daily Light, Texas Tech’s newest commit, Jalen Reagor talked a bit about committing to Texas Tech, but his father, Montae, also talked about his son carrying on the tradition of attending Texas Tech:
“It’s a father’s dream to have his son follow in his footsteps and go to a college I paved the way at,” Montae said. “He’s earned everything, though. I’m filled with joy and truly grateful for his attitude, poise and focus.”
Anderson to Enroll Early (Not This Year, But Next Year).

This is a full year away, but Jack Anderson graduate early and (hopefully) be attending Texas Tech this time next year.
Miscellaneous. Remember when Tristan Wallace was committed to Texas Tech for like a month? Well, he committed to Ohio State after de-committing from Texas Tech and he flipped his commitment to Oregon . . . via PistolsFiring, Oklahoma State just lost their long-time quarterback commit in Nick Starkel. Oklahoma State has lost a few commits in recent days and this isn’t intended to be any sort of “in your face” post about Oklahoma State, but rather it is intended to note that player de-commit all of the time, so if and when it happens to Texas Tech, don’t get offended or think it only happens to the Red Raiders . . .
