Mike Jinks to be Named Head Coach at Bowling Green

Mike Jinks to be Named Head Coach at Bowling Green

Texas Tech running backs coach Mike Jinks will be named as the head coach of the Bowling Green Falcons. Jinks was named the associate head coach last year for Texas Tech after initially hired Jinks as the running backs coach.  The running backs flourished for Texas Tech and the former head coach at Cibolo Steele and now, Jinks will have the opportunity to lead his own program.

Congrats to Jinks! His star has shot up faster than I ever could have imagined considering he was a high school head coach just three short years ago.  I think Jinks is a heck of a coach and he’ll do well.
