Miller on Visit: Houston Miller also spoke with RaiderPower’s Alyssa Chrisope and Red Raider Sports’ Adrian Martin about his visit and the legacy he wants to leave at Keller.
With RP, Miller talked about what he enjoyed:
I mean I loved it,” he said. “It was a great visit being Senior Day and seeing how everyone was recognizing the seniors and everything like that. It was a big deal to everyone and about them being who they are and everyone just taking in the moments they’ve had of them playing there the past four years. It was a great atmosphere. It was different than other games because of the senior day thing. This was a big win for us because it made us bowl eligible so we’re excited about that. It was a big deal, and a great game. The visit this week was pretty great.”
And with RRS, Miller talked about how he wants to strive for greatness in everything he does:
“I want the school and the next teams to remember me as a the kid I was on the team and the player I was. My head coach calls me his Rottweiler. I’m always making everyone’s doing something right, I’m making sure the locker room is cleaned up” said Miller. “When I was a sophomore, I went to Walmart and bought a vacuum, because we had a vacuum that didn’t work. I bought one that so we could have one that worked and people actually kept that locker room clean. We always just strived for greatness and I want people to know that I wasn’t just a football player that had great stats and a good season.”
My wife would love Miller, vacuuming on his own.

Vasher Undecided About Basketball. Red Raider Sports’ Adrian Martin notes that he hasn’t decided if he is going to play basketball this year after the football season, but he does want to get ready for Texas Tech:
“One of my goals is to definitely start working to get ready for Lubbock and Texas Tech. One thing I haven’t decided is if I’m playing basketball this year or not. If i don’t, I’ll probably take a week or two off and get right back to work” said Vasher.
Possible Offer to JUCO DB. It will be interesting to see if this pans out, but Red Raider Sports’ Drew Kohnle writes that Texas Tech might offer JUCO cornerback, Antonio Cole, from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M. With the commitment of Desmon Smith, I’m not sure if this will come to fruition, but Cole sounds like he is confident that Texas Tech will offer. Cole is 6-1/180, so he’s another bigger cornerback
