Canadian Tour. I actually slacked (yeah, slacked) Dan earlier today to ask him about when Texas Tech woudl tip-off for their Canadian tour and here we have a press conference. Texas Tech will play four games in five days and all games are played in Montreal, Quebec:
Sunday, August 16, McGill University, 4 p.m.
Monday, August 17, Laval University, 7 p.m.
Wednesday, August 19, Carleton University, 7 p.m.
Thursday, August 20, Ottawa University, 7 p.m.
Dan is ahead of all of you as you can apparently stream Sunday’s game against McGill right at that link.
DMN’s Mike DuPont was at the presser and Texas Tech head coach Tubby Smith said that this will give this team time to bond:
“I think it’s very beneficial to us, it gives us a lot of time to bond, to see what our young players look like and we have quite a few,” he said. “We were one of the youngest teams in the country last year and we’ll be again one of the younger teams in the country especially with four new freshmen.”

All-Big 12 for Beckie and Devine. Another day and another honor, this time as Janine Beckie and Hannah Devine were named to the All-Big 12 Preseason Team yesterday.
