Texas Tech Loses Series to TCU. The open thread is updated, but as you can tell from the title, Texas Tech lost to TCU, 4-1 and loses the series 2-1. Not a bad effort yesterday, managing only 5 hits all game and Corey Taylor continues to pitch lights out.

Spring Sports Update.

• Softball loses to Baylor, 6-5 in extra innings. Baylor swept Texas Tech, but keep in mind that the Bears are ranked and Texas Tech did a pretty good job of haning with the Bears.
• The women’s tennis team beats #7 Baylor 4-2 and moved into a tie with Baylor. Huge win for Todd Petty.
• The men’s tennis team dropped their match to Texas 4-1.
• The Texas Tech track and field teams finished up quite well at the Texas Tech Open. Quite well. The men and women won 15 events.
