Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament Bracket Revealed. Expect more on this from the inimitable Dan Swany, but the LAJ has a quick look at the bracket for the conference tournament. 10 seed Texas Tech plays 7 seed Texas at 8 PM on Wednesday (game will be televised on ESPNU). Winner gets the pleasure of playing Iowa State & Fred Hoiberg, the second best looking coach of any sport in the conference. #TeamKingsbury
Softball Wins Double Header. The softball team pulled closer to a .500 record with wins against UT Martin & Utah Valley yesterday in the Texas Tech Invitational. The win against UT Martin broke a 6 game losing streak, so let’s hope things continue to look up in Coach Gregory’s inaugural season.
There’s No Place Like Home. Tech baseball (10-3) is now 0-2 on the road, dropping its second game to the Cal State Fullerton Titans 3-2. Interesting stat in the article: Tech is 22-27 all time in games played in the state of California. Never good when geography can “scoreboard” you.
